TASMANIA POLICE SURVEY

The survey has now finished. Thank you to all those members who completed the survey and then encouraged others to do the same. A big thank you to all those members who sent me an email of how you had responded. A sample of these has been provided to Commissioner Adams who personally thanked me for the support provided by NHW. A summary of the survey results will be publicly available in early 2024.

THE WEEK (Neighbourhood Watch/Bunnings Crime Prevention Week)

A big thank you to Bunnings for once again supporting NHW in partnership with their Crime Prevention Week. NHW participated in four raffles, three Cuppa with a Cop (CWAC) events, two Tradies Breakfasts and one Barbecue across five of their Tasmanian warehouses. Once again, Tasmania Police were present at each of these events in support of the NHW efforts.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) SIGNED

Neighbourhood Watch values its unique partnership with Tasmania Police. Our job as helping the police to help communities to help themselves. Our relationship is described in an MOU that both parties re-commit to every three years. This MOU was re-signed in December by the Commissioner and the President to confirm our ongoing support for each other.
