Neighbourhood Watch Australasia (NHWA) is our peak body across Australia and New Zealand. This four-minute video is a snapshot of our activities in the course of 2025. Check it out on this link: NHWA 2025 Highlights Video on Vimeo. We can all take pride in the activities we participate in each year. Check it out and see how many of your members and friends you can spot in the images from our two countries.

Our Junior Cordial with a Cop at Bunnings Mornington was such an outstanding success on the 22nd of January 2025 that steps have been taken to make it an annual event. Next year is already booked in for 11am on Thursday, 28 January 2027. Put it in your calendar now so you don’t miss out!
Vehicle Safety: Every day in Tasmania cars are stolen, and vehicles are unlawfully entered by thieves to take valuable property that has been left inside. Always lock your car and store the keys somewhere at home that is secure, and away from doors and windows. Never label keys with personal details, and whenever possible, park in well-lit, secure areas.
Neighbour Day is Australia’s annual celebration of community, encouraging people to connect with their neighbours, while also helping to address loneliness across the nation. You can celebrate in a variety of ways including hosting or supporting events that assist and engage your communities. Get involved in Neighbour Day – and get connected!

Safer Internet Day is a global initiative to raise awareness of online safety issues, to educate people about online safety risks, like online abuse, how to be safe online and where to go for help. The eSafety Commissioner is encouraging Australians to take three simple actions when approaching online safety: Connect. Reflect. Protect. By doing these things and sharing the Connect. Reflect. Protect message, we can work towards making every day a Safer Internet Day. Find out more at: https://www.esafety.gov.au/newsroom/whats-on/safer-internet-day.
Raising awareness of the community benefits in joining a local Neighbourhood Watch group, and effective ways to keep homes and property secure. Anyone can take our Secure Score Quiz at any time. It is a free and easy way to rate your home’s security, or to find your local Neighbourhood Watch group. Go to: https://www.nhwa.com.au/resources/secure-score/.
