Take the secure quiz today to enter.
Get all your friends to enter by 31 March 25.
Help primary school children to enter our new Calendar Drawing Competition. The theme is, How to be a Good Neighbour.
Get more information and entry forms.
Entries close on 31 May 25 so please don’t put it off. Do you know a primary school teacher who might like to champion their class getting their entries in? Do you have friends, relatives or neighbours with primary school students you could encourage to enter? Each age category winner receives $100 and their drawing is featured in our next Calendar.
Please help us make this another successful activity as part of our 40-year anniversary next year of Neighbourhood Watch in Tasmania.
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to three new Neighbourhood Watch groups that have been established this year. Beaconsfield, Fern Tree and Weymouth Progress Association. If you don’t know where these places are – take a moment to find them on your map of Tasmania and improve your knowledge of our state!

Belonging is the sense of safety and comfort we feel when we are accepted for who we are. Share this tip with your Facebook friends. Practice it yourself!
Make an effort. Creating a sense of belonging takes effort. It requires you to put yourself out there. Seek out activities and groups of people with whom you have common interests and respectfully engage with others who you may be different to.

Neighbour Day is a Relationships Australia initiative that has been around for 20 years, and an ideal we have always been pleased to support. The name has now changed to Neighbours Every Day which fits even more closely to the ethos of Neighbourhood Watch. The last Sunday in March is still a focus to reflect on the benefits of neighbourly connections.
