‘ClickFit’ is a national cybercrime awareness campaign supported by police in every state and territory to help people recognise the warning signs of cybercrime. Just like drivers learn to spot hazards on the road, ‘ClickFit’ is about helping online users recognise the warning signs of cybercrime by encouraging them to:
🛑 STOP their scroll,
⚠️ CHECK for warning signs of scams, and
✔️ PROTECT themselves from cybercrime.
The more aware we are of checking our digital blind spots like suspicious text messages, shady email links, or fake investment ads – the better we are at steering clear of cyber threats.

The Neighbourhood Watch Tasmania 2026 Calendars were launched at our Awards and Prize Giving ceremony at the Country Club on Saturday 18 October 25. Over 100 people were present to witness the 12 primary school winners in our Calendar Drawing Competition receive their prizes that were presented by Commander Jo Stolp and Maria Bennett, the CEO of Neighbourhood Watch Australasia.
Photos from the day, which include recipients of NHW Awards can be found on our website at: https://nhwtas.org.au/agm-2025-photo-gallery/. Check them out – it was a great day!
Also, if you know any child that entered, see if you can find their drawing in the montage that is included as extra pages in the Calendar. Get your copy before they all go! Check with your coordinator or police station at Kingston, Wynyard, Burnie, Devonport, Launceston, Glenorchy or Hobart.
The latest edition of the Neighbourhood Watch Journal is now available, both in hard copy and online at: https://www.nhwa.com.au/news-media/journal/. Going away? Make your home look lived in by using light timers, leaving shoes by the door, and asking a neighbour to collect your mail and watch over your home. Never hide spare keys outside; instead, leave them with a trusted neighbour or friend.
