STOP PRESS!!
Change of date for Neighbourhood Watch/Bunnings Crime Prevention Week (The Week) has had a slight tweak in its days of operation. It is only a slight jump to the right and it will now run from 6 November to 12 November 24. NHW will set up information desks, conduct raffles, hold CWACs and sausage sizzles at their local Bunnings Warehouses during The Week which is just one more contribution to sharing valuable crime prevention information.
Ten NHW groups from around the state have been successful in getting a Get Online Week (GOLW) Grant through Neighbourhood Watch Australasia (NHWA). GOLW runs from 14 to 20 October 24. If your NHW is one of the groups hosting a GOLW event, get along and give them your support. Hospitality and prizes are freely given – and you are guaranteed to learn something you always wanted to know about being online.
More details about when and where these events will be held can soon be found on our Facebook Pages and in the October Bulletin.
Our Calendar Drawing Competition closed on 31 July 24 and all winners have been notified. We are working hard to have the Calendar published for the launch at our AGM, Awards and Prize Giving Ceremony at the Country Club on Saturday, 19 October 24. The AGM starts at 10am and all members from across the state are invited to attend. There will be plenty of morning tea for all! Earn yourself a few credits and come and support our neighbourhood champions. Get yourself a free, limited-edition calendar for 2025!
